Good Marriage
What makes a good marriage work? Many people have asked this question from time memorial. You will never hear of a perfect marriage why? Maybe because there is no such thing as perfection, if you are perfect then maybe you are a god. The road in life has many detours and up and downs, it is how we work through this problems do we get to have a happy marriage.
The key to having a good marriage lies with the couple and not outsiders who want to interfere believing that they know best on how a marriage should work. There are a couple of steps that you will need to work on to have a healthy marriage. The first step is to learn how to work and cope with each other. Learn what the others like’s and dislikes are.
Secondly and I do not know how true this is, to make a good marriage you must look at the world and your marriage through rose colored lens it is said to help couples. Basically I think what it means is that you should look at the marriage through each others eyes first. Take time to think what your spouse is thinking and feeling and not just how you feel all the time. Taking time to do things apart can sometimes help especially if one of you or both of you is feeling smothered by the other. Keep in mind you may be married and a couple but you are still an individual. Communication is always the key to a healthy and well rounded marriage. Learn to talk to each other; your marriage will probably last longer.
